Gwinnett County police Friday were investigating a fatal early-morning pedestrian accident on Club Drive in Lawrenceville. Bayron H. Lopez-Garcia, 25, of Norcross, was trying to cross the road near Trent Way about 3:40 a.m. when he was struck by a 2002 Dodge Stratus, Gwinnett police Cpl. Illana Spellman said. Lopez-Garcia, who Spellman said smelled of alcohol, died at the scene.... read more
